MediaTek is expected to announce the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset on April 11. The Find X8S is expected to be the first phone to come equipped with it. The Vivo X200S, which is expected to debut by mid-to-late April, may also feature the new chip. Apart from these phones, the iQOO Neo 10S Pro, Redmi K80 Ultra, OnePlus Ace 5S, and a Realme flagship are also expected to feature the D9400+. A new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station shares key details about the Realme flagship.
Upcoming Realme GT flagship’s key specs emerge
According to the tipster, the Realme GT series flagship equipped with the Dimensity 9400 Plus will debut before the Redmi K80 Ultra. As per reports, the K80 Ultra is expected to launch in May in China. Therefore, the Realme flagship, which could be called the Realme GT 8, may break cover in April or May in its home market.
The leak also states that the Realme GT 8 will be the only Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset phone to feature a 7,000mAh+ battery. The rest of its specifications are under wraps.
In related news, Realme has recently launched the Realme P3 Ultra in India. The device comes equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it features the Dimensity 8350 chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
The P3 Ultra has a Sony IMX896 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back. For selfies, it has a Sony IMX480 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The device comes preloaded with Android 15 and Realme UI 6.
