The forthcoming Vivo Y300i has surfaced in China Telecom’s product library ahead of its official announcement. The listing has unveiled key specifications, features, pricing, and a potential release date, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from this upcoming budget-friendly smartphone. The Y300i appears to be a tweaked version of the Vivo Y39 5G that was recently unveiled in Malaysia.
Vivo Y300i specifications (rumored)

The Vivo Y300i, bearing the model number V2444A, is expected to feature a 6.68-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1608 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The device will sport a 5-megapixel front camera and a single 50-megapixel rear camera, which is a slight downgrade compared to the Vivo Y39 5G’s 8MP front and dual rear cameras (50MP + 2MP). However, the Y300i compensates with a massive 6,500mAh battery and 44W fast charging, as per its 3C certification. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, and an IR blaster, making it a versatile option in its price range.
Vivo Y300i price (rumored)
The phone will be available in three storage configurations: 8GB+256GB for 1,499 Yuan ($205), 1,699 Yuan ($235), and 1,799 Yuan ($245). It will come in three color options: Ink Jade Black, Rime Blue, and Titanium. However, readers are advised to take the pricing with a pinch of salt, as these are not officially confirmed and may change upon launch.
To sum up, the Y300i appears to be a slightly modified version of the Malaysian Vivo Y39 5G. While the Y39 5G offers a slightly better camera setup, the Y300i adds NFC and an IR blaster.
