OnePlus announced the OnePlus 10 Pro at the beginning of this year in China. It has also gone official in the U.S, Europe, and India recently. Past reports have claimed that the company is planning to launch the OnePlus 10R smartphone, but there has been no concrete information on the standard OnePlus 10. Today, tipster Yogesh Brar has claimed that the Chinese manufacturer is also working on the vanilla OnePlus 10.
According to the tipster, the OnePlus 10 will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset. He added that the company is readying it for a limited release. Unfortunately, the tipster hasn’t shared any information on its other specs and launch timeframe.
Last month, Brar revealed the existence of an upcoming OnePlus phone codenamed “Oscar.”He had mentioned that this device would be launching as the numbered series phone from the brand. However, it is unclear whether the device will launch on the market as the vanilla OnePlus 10. It is expected to debut in Q2 this year.
Brar also said in his new tweet that work on the rumored Ultra model is in full swing. This device is likely to be the OnePlus 10 Pro+ or OnePlus 10 Ultra. It will probably be announced in the second half of the year. It is likely to rival the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the forthcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
Recent reports have revealed that OnePlus is also working on a couple of new Nord branded smartphones. The Nord 2T is expected to debut in April or May, followed by the Nord CE 2 Lite. The Nord 3 is likely to break cover in July.
