Vivo will be announcing and innovative smartphone on Jan. 24. The handset is dubbed as Vivo APEX 2019 by the Chinese manufacturer. The company hasn’t confirmed any information on the phone. However, leaked renders that have surfaced today reveals that it will be sporting a marvelous bezel-less design and with no buttons or ports whatsoever.
The Vivo APEX 2019 leaked render that have surfaced today shows that its entire panel will be occupied with the display. Since it features an in-screen fingerprint reader, it seems to be equipped with an AMOLED display. The super-slim bezels around the display indicates that it will deliver marvelous screen-to-body ratio. The sides of the phone do not feature any buttons which suggests that the phone could be lacking ports for 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C port. The APEX 2019 lacks a front-facing camera which suggests it could be featuring a pop-up selfie shooter.
Chinese media claims that the Chinese manufacturer has already showcased the smartphone to general public. People who have seen it are of the view that it appears like a metallic soap that is rounded from all four sides. Recent reports have revealed that it has a model number of EK1831 and is codenamed as The Waterdrop. After the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, it could be the first phone to go official with Snapdragon 855 chipset.
