Vivo Pad 2 Key Details Leaked Once Again

Vivo is expected to hold its next launch event in April. The rumor mill has claimed that the event will see the arrival of the Vivo Pad 2. There is a possibility that the company may also announce the Vivo X Flip as its first-ever clamshell phone with a foldable display. Recent reports have revealed a lot of information about the upcoming Vivo tablet. Now, a new Weibo post has revealed the key specifications of the Vivo Pad 2.

As per the leak, the Vivo Pad 2 will come equipped with a 12-inch LCD panel that will offer a refresh rate of 144Hz. The device will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset and is said to pack a large battery. The other details of the device are yet to be revealed.

The source said again that the Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip will also come out in April, along with the Vivo Pad 2. The original Vivo Pad was priced at 2,499 Yuan ($362) at launch. Hence, it is likely that the Vivo Pad 2 may arrive with a similar price tag.

To recall, the Vivo Pad from last year offered an 11-inch IPS LCD display that offers 1600 x 2560 pixels, a Snapdragon 870 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage, as well as an 8,040mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It came with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system on the back. It came preloaded with Android 12 OS and OriginOS UI on top.

As far as the X Fold 2 is concerned, it is expected to arrive as the world’s first foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The X Flip is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
