Vivo is expected to hold a major launch event in China towards the end of the first quarter of 2024. The Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro foldable phones will be the major highlights of the event. However, the brand is also said to be planning to announce the Vivo X100s, which will be a flat-display version of the X100, and a flagship tablet dubbed the Vivo Pad 3. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked details about the display, chipset, and fast charging capabilities of an upcoming tablet. It appears that the leaker could be talking about the Vivo Pad 3. Here is a look at the details revealed by the tipster.
Vivo Pad 3 specifications (rumored)
The details leaked by DCS suggest that the Vivo Pad 3 will have an LCD panel that measures 13 inches and supports a 3K resolution. The tipster revealed that the tablet uses the Dimensity 9300 chip, which also powers devices like the Oppo Find X7 and the Vivo X100 series. In addition, the leaker revealed that the Vivo Pad 3 will support 80W fast charging.
While the leaker did not reveal the other specs of the Pad 3, it appears that it will be a major upgrade as compared to the Pad 2 from last year. To recall, the Vivo Pad 2 came with a 12-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a 2.8K resolution, a Dimensity 9000 chipset, and 45W fast charging.
In related news, the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The X Fold 3 will be an affordable offering that will lack features like an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint, wireless charging, and a periscope telephoto camera.
The Vivo X100s, on the other hand, will offer the same specs as the Vivo X100. However, it is expected to sport a flat display design. While the regular X100 supports 120W wired charging, the X100s may offer 90W charging.
