The Vivo 15 smartphone was unveiled in Thailand earlier this month. The same phone will be also heading to India in the coming week. Fresh information shared by a Chinese tipster reveals that the company may launch the same phone as Vivo S1 in China.
Vivo S1 is expected to debut as the first Vivo S-series phone. It is speculated that the V1831A/T smartphone that was recently approved by TENAA could be the Vivo S1 smartphone.
The Vivo S1 is expected to arrive with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display. It will be a notch-less screen that will offer an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The MediaTek Helio P70 SoC will be fueling the handset with 6 GB of RAM. It will include a 4,000mAh battery.
The native storage of the phone will be 128 GB. The triple camera setup on its rear will include a 12-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 5-megapixel third sensor. For capturing selfies, there will be an elevating camera of 24.8-megapixel. The only major difference between the rumored Vivo S1 and the Vivo V15 phone is that latter is equipped with a frontal pop-out camera of 32-megapixel. Rumors have it that the Vivo S1 could be priced around 2,000 Yuan.
