Vivo will be launching the next-generation’s Vivo S10 series smartphones on July 15th next week. According to reports, we can expect at least two models during the initial launch including the Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro, though the company may plan to introduce new models like the Vivo S10e along the way too.
Ahead of it’s scheduled launch, the company had already listed the Vivo S10 Pro for registration (of interest) on Chinese ecommerce platform JD.com where the phone had already secured more than 100,000 registrations. This of course, isn’t much of a surprise since Vivo S series smartphones are always well-received in the local market, thanks to their sleek design and respectable specs sheet.
Based on what we’d learned from recent leaks, the Vivo S10 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.44” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset which will feature at least 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
For photography, the Vivo S10 Pro features a triple-cam setup lead by a 108 megapixels main camera. As for the other two cameras, they are likely to be an ultra-wide lens, as well as a depth sensor. Once again, we can expect the device to come with a 44MP dual-selfie cameras upfront as well.
