Last month, Vivo launched the Vivo S15e in China. Reports have revealed that the selfie-focused S15 lineup will include two other models: the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro. Both models have been spotted with their respective model numbers of V2199A and V2203A in the database of Chinese certification websites such as 3C and TENAA. The latter only revealed preliminary information about the S15 duo. Today, the TENAA listing of the S15 got populated with its key specifications. Unfortunately, the images of the phone are not yet available in the listing.
Vivo S15 Specifications
The Vivo S15 measures 163 x 76.16 x 8.54mm and weighs around 190 grams. The device features an AMOLED display of 6.62 inches that carries support for a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Placed on the front of the device is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The camera island available on the back has a 64-megapixel main camera. It is coupled with an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel camera, which seem to be an ultrawide and depth/macro sensor.
The Vivo S15 is rumored to be powered by an octa-core processor that works at 3.2GHz. This chip seems to be the Snapdragon 870. In China, the device will come with 4 GB / 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of internal storage.
The S15 is likely to house a 4,580mAh dual-cell battery. Its appearance at 3C revealed that it may support 80W fast charging. The device will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS with OriginOS Ocean UI on top. For security, it has an under-screen fingerprint sensor.
