Vivo S17 series is reportedly in the works. A recent leak revealed the model numbers of the Vivo S17e, S17, and S17 Pro. In a new leak, a Chinese tipster has revealed the chipsets that will power the S17 trio. He has tipped the launch timeframe of the S17 series.
As per a recent report, the Vivo S17e, S17, and S17 Pro have model numbers V2285A, V2283A, and V2284A, respectively. The leak also revealed a few key specifications of the S17 family but did not mention the names of the chipsets that power the smartphones.
According to the tipster, the Vivo S17 series will rival the OPPO Reno 10 series. He added that the lineup will be powered by chipsets, such as the Snapdragon 778G, the Dimensity 8200, and the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. There is a possibility that these chips will power the S17e, S17, and S17 Pro. The same chips are rumoured to power the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+, respectively.
The tipster also said the Vivo S17 series will be announced at some point in May. It will be geared towards the buyers, who will be aiming to make the most of the 618 online shopping festival, which is held around June 18 in China.
