Last month, Vivo had launched the Vivo S5 smartphone in China. The smartphone was introduced in two models such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. However, since launch the company had been only selling its 128 GB storage edition. Starting from today, the company has begun the sales of the 256 GB storage variant.
The 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of the Vivo S5 is now selling with a price tag of 2,998 Yuan. The existing 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model costs 2,698 Yuan.
The smartphone comes in color edition such as Icelandic Blue, Phantom Blue and Star Black. The 256 GB edition is only available Icelandic Blue and Star Black editions. The 128 GB edition comes in all three colors.
Vivo S5 Specifications
The Vivo S5 has a 6.44-inch S-AMOLED display with a top-right positioned punch-hole that houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the phone features a 48-mgeapixel + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) and 2-megapixel (depth) quad camera system. The Snapdragon 712 chipset powers the phone. It runs on Android 9 Pie OS that is overlaid with FunTouch OS 9.2 UI. The device houses a 4,100mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging through USB-C.
