On the coming Monday (Dec. 15), Vivo will unveil the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini in China. Vivo S50 Pro Mini variants and color options
As per the listing, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini will arrive in three configurations, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. Buyers can choose from finishes such as Confession White, Space Black, and Inspirational Purple. As can be seen, the S50 Pro Mini’s design is completely different from that of the S50. It sports a horizontal camera bar, which houses three cameras and an LED flash.
Vivo S50 Pro Mini specifications
The China Telecom listing reveals that the Vivo S50 Pro Mini has a 6.31-inch OLED panel that delivers a 1.5K resolution. The brand has already confirmed that the screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate and will be equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini has the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and runs on OriginOS 6-based Android 16. The listing confirms a 6,500mAh battery, which is officially revealed to support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
For photography, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini’s rear setup has a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 50-megapixel front camera.
The S50 Pro Mini measures 150.83 x 71.76 x 8.10mm and weighs 192 grams. It is expected to arrive with an IP68/69-rated body equipped with other features such as an aerospace-grade metal frame, dual speakers, and an x-axis linear motor.
In related news, Vivo is said to be working on expanding the X300 lineup globally. The series, which already includes the X300 and X300 Pro, may soon have an entry-level model called the Vivo X300 FE. Rumors surrounding this device suggest that it could be a rebadged version of the S50 Pro Mini.
