Vivo is said to be working on the Vivo S50 series of smartphones for China. There have been reports that the lineup will be launching in November. However, a new update reveals that the series is scheduled to launch in December.
Vivo S50 series launch timeframe tipped

As can be seen above, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Vivo S50 series will be announced in December. As per reports, the lineup includes two models, the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini.

According to reports, the Vivo S50 may feature a 6.59-inch OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. While there is no information about the device’s battery capacity, it is said to support 90W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini is said to be a compact offering equipped with a 6.31-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The Vivo S50 series is expected to run on Android 16 with a layer of OriginOS 6 on top. Both phones are expected to feature a periscope telephoto camera in their rear camera setups. The brand is expected to begin the teasers of the Vivo S50 series later this month in China.
There are speculations that these phones will be rebranded for the global market. While the S50 may debut as the Vivo V70, the S50 Pro Mini could be called the Vivo X300 in markets outside of China.
