After launching the Vivo S6 mid-ranger smartphone earlier this month, Vivo is now back with a follow up model known as the Vivo S7 5G which comes with several internal upgrades as well as a refreshed design.
At the front, the Vivo S7 arrives with a 6.5-inches AMOLED display which boasts a standard FHD+ screen resolution as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
This time round, the device has an antiquated top-notch on its front panel which houses a pair of selfie cameras consisting of a 44 megapixels main camera along with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens.
On its rear, the Vivo S7 has a familiar-looking camera module which shows deep resemblance to what we’d seen from the Vivo X50 Pro. These cameras include a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.
Under the hood, the Vivo S7 will be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC instead of the Exynos 980 found in its predecessor. It will be tagged along with 8GB worth of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage.
To keep its lights on, the Vivo S7 will be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery which comes with 33W fast-charging support. Coming to its software-side, the device will run on the custom FuntouchOS 10.5 based on Android 10.
In the Chinese market, the Vivo S7 carries a price tag of 2,798 Yuan (US$400) and 3,098 Yuan (US$444) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.
