Vivo S9 Design Revealed Through Official Poster, Vivo S9e Moniker Confirmed

Vivo will be launching the Vivo S9 series of smartphones in China on March 3. Today, the company released the first poster to confirm the rear design of the Vivo S9.

The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that the Vivo S9 will be arriving with a 44-megapixel dual selfie camera system. The phone will be available in black. white, and gradient blue colors.

The back panel of the phone has a rectangle-shaped camera module that houses three cameras arranged a triangular manner and an LED flash. The right edge of the device has a volume rocker and a power key.

The front side of the phone is not shown. However, it is expected to feature an AMOLED panel with a wide notch like the predecessor Vivo S7 5G smartphone. The wide notch will house a 44-megapixel dual selfie camera setup.

The Chinese text present at the bottom-right corner confirms that the Vivo S9 5G series has two handsets such as Vivo S9 and Vivo S9e. While the S9 has two front-facing cameras, the S9e will be sporting a 32-megapixel front camera.

Reports have claimed that the Vivo S9 5G will be the world’s first phone to arrive in the market with Dimensity 1100 chipset. On the other side, the Vivo S9e could be equipped with Dimensity 820 chipset. Both phones are expected to support a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo S9 could be housing a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The S9e could be backed by a slightly large 4,100mAh battery. It is also expected to support 33W rapid charging. At present, there is no word on the pricing of the Vivo S9 and Vivo S9e smartphones. The Vivo S9 is now for pre-booking in China and its product page is now live on the official website.
