Vivo is planning to launch a new smartphone. According to a local report by 91mobiles Hindi, the company will launch the T3x 5G in India later this month. The news comes after Vivo released the vanilla T3 5G last month.
The Vivo T3x 5G is expected to cost between Rs 12,5000 and Rs15,000. Hence, it will be a budget 5G phone for the mass audience.
Speculation suggests that Vivo will launch the phone in the third week of April, although the exact release date remains unknown. Some industry sources have pointed to April 19 and April 22 as possible launch dates. As such, Vivo might start a teaser campaign for the phone next week.
There is not much information about the hardware and software configuration of the Vivo T3x 5G. That said, it is expected that it will bring a similar set of features as its predecessor, last year’s Vivo T2x 5G, with upgrades in some departments.
Vivo T2x 5G specifications

The processor was paired with 4 GB / 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Fueling the phone was a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired fast charging. It featured a dual camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary shooter and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Over on the front, the water-drop notch housed an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
