Vivo had recently launched the Vivo S1 Pro smartphone in Southeast Asian markets like Philippines and Thailand. The same phone is now official in Russia as Vivo V17. The phone is now up for pre-orders until Dec. 5. Customers who pre-order it will receive the Vivo Y11 phone as a gift. The shipments of the phone will be carried from Dec. 2 to Dec. 5. The handset has landed in Russia with 22,990 RUB ($360). Cloudy Blue and Fog Blue are the two color editions of the Vivo V17.
Vivo V17 Specifications and Features
The Vivo V17 has 159.25 x 75.19 x 8.68mm dimensions and it weighs 186.7 grams. It is fitted with a waterdrop notch enabled 6.38-inch AMOLED display that produces 1080 x 2340 pixels full HD+ resolution. The screen of the phone is integrated with a fingerprint reader.
The Snapdragon 665 chipset powers the Vivo V17 with 8 GB of RAM. The device comes with 128 GB of built-in storage and carries a microSD slot for additional storage. The Android 9 Pie OS skinned with FunTouch OS 9.2 UI runs on the Vivo V17.
The Vivo V17 has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging. For capturing selfies, it has a front camera of 32-megapixel. The rear shell of the device has 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup. The phone also features NFC connectivity.
The Vivo V17 phone will be heading to India in the next few weeks. A rebranded version of the Vivo V17 / S1 Pro will be debuting soon in China as Vivo Y9s.
