The database of China’s Telecom authority i.e. TENAA has a new listing for a Vivo phone with mode number of V1990A. it appears to be a mid-range phone that may debut as a Y-series phone in China. Most of the specs of the phone are identical with the Vivo Z5x phone that was announced in May 2019 in China.

The Vivo V1990A has a 6.53-inch punch-hole display. It seems to be an IPS LCD panel that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It delivers an elongated aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
An octa-core processor that works at 2.3GHz is present under the hood of the device. The phone may ship in China in three RAM editions such as 4 GB, 6 Gb and 8 GB. The handset could be available in storage choices like 64 GB and 128 GB in the home market. For additional storage, the handset is equipped with a microSD card slot.
The Android 10 OS will come preloaded on the Vivo V1990A smartphone. The handset has a huge battery with a rated capacity of 4,880mAh. The 3C listing of the phone revealed that only supports 10W charging.
The Vivo V1990A has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The rear panel of the phone features a fingerprint sensor and a triple camera setup with LED flash. It includes a 16-megapixel primary shooter along with an 8-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel sensor.
The Vivo Z5x from last year possesses the same specs as the upcoming Vivo V1990A. The only major difference between the two phones is that the Vivo Z5x featured the Snapdragon 710 chipset whereas the Vivo V1990A has a different SoC. It could be equipped with either Snapdragon 712 or Helio P35 chipset. In related news, the Vivo Y50 smartphone is speculated to launch in China later this week.
