An upcoming Vivo smartphone with V2037 model number has paid visit to Geekbench. The identity of the smartphone is not known yet since it has not been spotted at any certification platforms before. The Geekbench appearance reveals that it could be debuting as the first Vivo smartphone powered by the Helio G80.
The Geekbench listing of the Vivo V2037 does not explicitly state the name of the chipset that powers it. The chipset is mentioned with its MT6769V model number. Since Vivo has never used the chipset in any of its previously released phones before, the V2037 could be the first Helio 80 powered smartphone from the brand.
The Vivo V2037 Geekbench listing further reveals that it features 4 GB of RAM and it is loaded with the Android 10 OS. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the handset scored 1823 and 5466 points, respectively. It appears that the company could be gauging the performance of the device on the benchmarking platform before making it official. Hence, there is a possibility that its launch may not be far away.
In related news, a couple of other Vivo phones have emerged at certification platforms. The Vivo V2034A surfaced in the database of Indonesia’s TKDN authority with the Vivo Y20A model number in the previous week. The same phone was also spotted at the Indonesia Telecom certification. After the Vivo Y20 and Y20i phones, the Vivo Y20A will be arriving in the country as the third Y20 series smartphone.
Last week, the TKDN regulatory body approved an unknown Vivo phone with model number V2038. At present, there is no information available on the specifications of the Vivo Y20A and V2038 smartphones.
