Launched last month, the Motorola Edge S was the first smartphone powered by the latest Snapdragon 870 chipset which sits slightly below the Snapdragon 888 in terms of performance.
Subsequently, there were rumors that both OPPO and Xiaomi will also be launching smartphones with the same chip. Right now, an unannounced Vivo smartphone bearing the model number V2055A had been spotted on Google Play Console with the Snapdragon 870 chipset as well.
Besides that, the same listing also revealed that the Vivo V2055A will be featuring a hefty 12GB RAM along with the latest Android 11 OS. Based on the render listed on Google Play Console, the device is expected to feature a central hole-punch display with minimal bezels along its two sides.
Although there isn’t any information with regards to its display size, but we do know that it’ll be coming with a FHD+ screen resolution with an unknown screen refresh rate.
At the moment, there isn’t any word on the actual identity of this upcoming smartphone. However, since its a high-end device, there might be a possibility that it could be launched under the X-series or the company’s flagship NEX series.
