Recent reports have revealed that Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V21 series of smartphones in different markets. It seems that Malaysia could be the first market to receive the Vivo V21 as its landing page has gone live on Vivo Malaysia’s website. A Facebook post by the brand has revealed that the lineup includes two models named Vivo V21 and Vivo V21e.
The official posters of the Vivo V21 series have revealed that at least one of the V21 phones features a waterdrop notch display. It houses a 44-megapixel selfie camera that comes with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) as well as dual front-firing flash. This indicates that the smartphone will be able to capture impressive selfies even in dim-light conditions.
The rectangle-shaped camera module placed at the top-left corner of the back panel of the V21 lineup features a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support. It is optimized to capture better shots at night and stable handheld videos.
The Vivo V21 series has a premium appeal as it features a glass back with a matte finish. It will be available in two stylish colors. The company claims that the V21 is its slimmest 5G ready smartphone.
There is no word on the processor that will power the Vivo V21 models. However, the company has confirmed that it will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 3 GB of extended RAM to ensure that the installed apps offer lag-free experience. Lastly, the landing page confirms that both the SIM slots of the V21 phones will support 5G connectivity.
The Vivo V21 series may break cover by the end of this month in Malaysia. Until then, the company is expected to release more information on the V21 lineup in the coming days.
