Last month, Vivo announced the Vivo V21e smartphone in the Malaysian market which carries support only for 4G connectivity. Now, it seems like we will soon be having a 5G variant of the device according to the latest information on Google Play Console.
The Google Play Console listing of the Vivo V21e 5G revealed that the phone will be equipped with a MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 as opposed to the Snapdragon 720G chipset found in the 4G variant. On top of that, it also comes with 8GB RAM and Android 11 OS out of the box.
Apart from the difference in it’s underlying chipset, the rest of the specs are likely to remain unchanged from the 4G variant. As such, the Vivo V21e 5G is likely to sport the same 6.44” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution.
On the imaging front, it comes with a triple-camera setup which include a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. Upfront, there’s also a 44 megapixels shooter for selfie and video-calling purposes.
To keep it’s light on, the phone is expected to be fueled by a 4,000mAh batter with 33W fast-charging support. As usual, it’ll be shipped with FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
