Several reports have revealed that Vivo is working on the Vivo V25 series of smartphones. India appears to be one of the first markets to receive the Vivo V25 lineup. A new report by 91mobiles Hindi has leaked the launch and sale dates of the Vivo V25 Pro 5G.
According to the publication, the Vivo V25 Pro 5G will debut on Aug. 17 in India. It further mentioned that the first sale of the device will be carried out on Aug. 25. The report has no other information on the specifications of the device.
Previous reports have revealed that the Vivo V25 Pro 5G will be equipped with an AMOLED display with a punch-hole design and curved edges. It will offer an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. It may come equipped with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage.
The device will come preloaded with Android 12 OS and FunTouch OS 12. It will have a 32-megapixel camera for selfies, and its back panel will have a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support. The size of its battery is not known yet. However, it is expected to carry support for 66W fast charging.
The Vivo V25 Pro, with model number V2158, has appeared with some of the above-mentioned specs in the database of the Google Play Console. The Vivo V25 5G, with V2202 model number, has also appeared on the Play Console. The listing reveals that it has an AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch, a Dimensity 900 chip, and 8 GB of RAM. It is also expected to come with up to 256 GB of storage. At present, it is unclear whether it will launch alongside the V25 Pro later this month.
