The Vivo V27 series of smartphones is rumored to launch this month in India. Reports have claimed that the lineup will have three models, such as the Vivo V27, V27 Pro, and V27e. The vanilla and Pro models could come out this month, while the V27e could release a couple of weeks later. Today, 91mobiles published a new report to leak key information on the chipset, display, and cameras of the V27 series.
As per the leak, the Vivo V27 Pro will come equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chipset. According to reports, the Vivo V27 series will be like the Vivo S16 series, which is only sold in China.
The Vivo S16, S16 Pro, and S16e are powered by the Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8200, and Exynos 1080 chipsets, respectively. Hence, it appears that the V27 Pro could be a rebranded version of the S16 Pro. The leak has no information on the chipset of the Vivo V27.
All of the V-series predecessor vanilla models had a flat display. As per the report, the V27’s display will have curved edges. The same can be expected from its Pro sibling.
Concerning the cameras, the report says nothing concrete about the V27 lineup’s camera configurations. However, the report does state that the V27 and V27 Pro will come equipped with high-end cameras supplied by Sony. Also, the V27 duo will inherit the color changing back panel design, which was made available on the V25 and V25 Pro (review). Like the predecessor models, the V27 series will be sold through Flipkart and Vivo India’s e-shop in India.
