Vivo is working on the Vivo V29 series of smartphones for multiple markets. It appears that the brand will announce the V29 and V29 Pro on Oct. 4 in India. The V29 is not an entirely new phone, as it has already been announced for European markets. While the V29 Pro is a new device, it is actually a rebadged version of the S17 Pro available in the Chinese market.
As per a report by TheTechOutlook, the Vivo V29 will arrive in two configurations in India, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The leak further states that the Vivo V29 Pro will be available in two options, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
Previous leaks have claimed that the Vivo V29 will be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000. On the other hand, the Vivo V29 Pro will be priced at under Rs 40,000.
The new leak reveals the Vivo V29 Pro will have a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and EIS support and a Sony IMX663 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The Vivo V29 and V29 Pro will both feature an eye-autofocus enabled 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
The leak also claims that the Vivo V29 series will have a 4,600mAh battery. It appears that both will support 80W fast charging. As per other reports, the Vivo V29 series will have a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved-edge AMOLED display. The V29 is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chip, whereas the V29 Pro will feature the Dimensity 8200.
