Vivo V29 teaser officially released, design confirmed

Vivo is likely to announce the Vivo V29 series soon. The reason behind it is that Vivo Turkey has released a couple of teasers for the V29. The first teasers have revealed its rear design.

The Vivo V29 series is expected to include multiple models, such as the Vivo V29 Lite 5G, Vivo V29 5G, and Vivo V29 Pro 5G. The lite model, which features a curved-edge AMOLED display and the Snapdragon 695, has already gone official. It appears that the brand could be planning to launch the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro in Turkey as well as some other markets.

As can be seen, the Vivo V29 series teaser seems to showcase two models, such as the Vivo V29 Pro and the Vivo V29. The first phone in the image gallery below seems to be the Pro model, whereas the other phone seems to be the V29.

The appearance of the V29 Pro is quite similar to that of the S17 Pro, which debuted in June in China. Hence, it appears that it could be a rebranded version of the S17 Pro.

The S17 Pro packs specs, such as a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features the Dimensity 8200 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and a 4,600mAh battery with 80W charging. It has a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support. On the back, it has a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit.

As per reports, the Vivo V29 5G will offer specs, such as a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 778G+ chip, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 4,505mAh battery with 80W charging. It is likely to feature an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel main camera.
