There have been reports that Vivo is gearing up to unveil the Vivo V50 in multiple Asian markets. Reports also suggest that Vivo plans to introduce the V50 in India. A new report, courtesy of SmartPrix, has revealed the launch timeline of the V50 for the Indian market.
Vivo V50 India launch timeframe (rumored)
As per the report, the Vivo V50 will be announced in the third week of February. It even mentions Feb. 18 as the tentative launch date for the Indian market.
The Vivo V50 Pro is not expected to launch alongside the V50. Probably, it will be unveiled a couple of weeks later. The lineup is also said to include an entry-level V50 series phone called the Vivo V50e. Various certification platforms have spotted this device, suggesting its potential launch shortly after the V50.
Vivo V50 specifications (rumored)
Reports suggest that the Vivo V50 will be a tweaked version of the Vivo S20. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to run on Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15.
On the front, the V50 will feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus support. The back panel of the device has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Under the hood, the V50 will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It may arrive with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
