Vivo will announce the Vivo X200T later this month in India. It appears that the brand is also prepping the Vivo V70 series for the country. Early rumours suggest that the lineup may include two models, such as the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite. A new report courtesy of SmartPrix has leaked the chipsets that will power both smartphones.

According to the report, the Vivo V70 will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, whereas the V70 Elite will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 onboard. Both devices are said to have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The V70 series is also expected to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and run on OriginOS 6-based Android 16. The V70 Elite is also expected to feature a 4D game vibration setup. In terms of pricing, the V70 series is expected to cost around Rs 55,000 ($610) in India and is likely to debut by mid-February.
While the publication has not mentioned it, it appears that the Vivo V70 Elite will be a rebranded version of the Vivo S50, which debuted in China last month. The S50 has a 6.59-inch OLED LTPO screen offering a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The S50 has the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, accompanied by up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It houses a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
For selfies, it has a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support. Its back panel has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS support.
