Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro foldable phones in the last week of this month. A leaked poster for the X Fold 3 series has now emerged to reveal all its key features.
According to the poster, the Vivo X Fold 3 series will have an extremely thin and lightweight design. To put this into context, the company claimed that the X Fold 3 is thinner than the yesteryear Vivo X Max, which is the world’s slimmest phone, measuring 5.1mm in thickness.
The Vivo X Fold 3 series will have a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Reports have claimed that the Pro model will be bigger by 100mAh and will exclusively support 50W wireless charging. The device will come preloaded with OriginOS 4. The custom UI will have a lot of features for the foldable phone form factor, including the ability to remotely control a Mac PC.
The Vivo X Fold 3 series will have a crystal-ceramic shield for the outer display. Reports have revealed that both devices will have a 6.53-inch cover display and an 8.03-inch foldable screen on the inside. The poster states that both screens will be integrated with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The series will offer IPX8-rated water resistance.
Reports have claimed that the Vivo Pad 3 Pro tablet with the Dimensity 9300 chipset will also be announced alongside the X Fold 3 series. As far as the Vivo Pad 3 is concerned, it may launch a bit later in the Chinese market.
