According to the speculation based on his information, the Vivo X Fold 3 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, launched in December 2022, possibly indicating a more affordable price point. Meanwhile, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is anticipated to come with the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Additionally, there is talk of the Vivo Pad 3, equipped with the Dimensity 9300.
The tipster added that the tablet will come equipped with a larger display than its predecessor, with potential OLED and LCD variants. To recall, the Vivo Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch LCD panel that offers a 144Hz refresh rate. It remains to be seen whether the screen size of the Vivo Pad 3 crosses the mark. The new leak also states that all three devices have a high-density battery.
In parallel news, reports suggest that Vivo is actively developing the Vivo X100s smartphone, described as a flat-display version of the Vivo X100, which sports a curved-edge display. Beyond the display design, another noteworthy distinction may lie in the fast-charging capabilities. While the X100 supports 120W fast charging, the X100s is speculated to offer slightly slower 80W charging.
The X100s is expected to launch with the X Fold 3 series and Pad 3. These devices may launch in the first quarter of this year.
