The above image gives a good look at the Vivo X Fold 5’s internal screen. It also reveals a new physical button located on the left edge of the phone, which replaces the mute switch found on the previous X Fold 3 series.
According to Boxiao, the X Fold 5 will feature LTPO 8T technology on both the internal and external screens, enabling smooth adaptive high refresh rates. The phone will offer ultra-high resolution and high pixel density.
Both screens also support a peak local brightness of 4,500 nits along with high-frequency PWM dimming across all brightness levels, helping reduce eye strain. The device is also certified by TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0, further enhancing visual comfort. In terms of color reproduction, both screens are supported by Zeiss Master Colour calibration, promising accurate tones and a consistent viewing experience on both panels.
Vivo has already revealed that the Vivo X Fold 5 will support IP5X dust resistance and IPX9 water resistance, and continue to function in extreme conditions like minus 20 degrees Celsius. While the brand has these details about the X Fold 5, it has yet to share its core specifications.
