Recent reports have revealed that the Vivo X Fold, Vivo X Note, and Vivo Pad will be debuting in the first half of April. Today, Vivo rolled out a new teaser of an upcoming device that appears to have a foldable form factor. It might be teasing the arrival of the Vivo X Fold, which is said to be the company’s first foldable smartphone.
Apart from rolling out the below-shown poster, Vivo hinted that it will be announcing something on the coming Monday (March 28). Hence, it appears that Vivo may confirm the launch date of its upcoming event, which may see the arrival of as many as three devices, such as the Vivo X Fold, Vivo X Note, and Vivo Pad.
The Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Note devices have recently appeared in the database of China’s TENAA certification site. It is speculated that the Vivo V2178A device could be the Vivo X Fold. The TENAA listing has revealed that it has a 6.53-inch cover display, a 2,255mAh dual-cell battery, Android 12 OS, and it measures 162.01 x 144.87 x 6.28mm. The 3C certification of the device revealed that it may arrive with support for 120W fast charging.
On the other hand, the TENAA certified V2170A could be the Vivo X Note. Its specifications have not yet appeared at TENAA. However, its 3C listing has revealed that it offers 80W fast charging. Both models are likely to carry support for 50W fast charging.
The Vivo X Fold and X Note are rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The Vivo Pad, which is expected to debut as Vivo’s first tablet, may feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC.
