Vivo China’s Product Manager, Han Boxiao, has released a poster to reveal the Vivo X100, offering a first look at its design. The X100 Pro, which is expected to launch along with the X100, is expected to sport the same design.
The official image reveals that the X100 showcases a sizeable circular camera module placed prominently at the centre of its back. This design shift implies the inclusion of a substantial 1-inch primary camera and an upgraded periscope telephoto lens.
What makes the Vivo X100 stand out is its distinct color scheme, inspired by star trails in space, which provides an eye-catching appearance. Apart from blue, the X100 and X100 Pro are expected to come in white and orange options. The orange model will have a leather back, while the other two variants will be equipped with a glass back.
In terms of performance, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are set to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor. This processor will be complemented by LPDDR5T RAM, ensuring a high level of performance. The X100 was recently seen with a commendable AnTuTu score of 2.24 million.
Furthermore, the Vivo X100 series is expected to feature Vivo’s proprietary V3 imaging chip, which not only aids in image processing but also significantly enhances energy efficiency compared to its predecessor. Rumors surrounding the X100 series have revealed that it will be announced in the third week of November. The Vivo Watch 3 smartwatch is also expected to debut with the X100 and X100 Pro.
Vivo’s X100 series also includes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered X100 Pro+. The device will be announced in the first quarter of 2024.
