Vivo is said to be working on the Vivo X100s series of smartphones. Initially, the rumor mill only leaked the details of the Vivo X100s, but last week’s report revealed the existence of the Vivo X100s Pro. To recall, Vivo announced the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro with the Dimensity 9300 chip in November last year. It is speculated that the upcoming X100s duo will have the newer Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly revealed the design details of the Vivo X100s series.
Vivo X100s series design details leaked
In the above screenshot, the DCS is talking about an upcoming phone, which will feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. As per reports, the Vivo X100s will come equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. However, the Geekbench listing of the X100s Pro that was spotted last week also suggested that it will come equipped with the same chip. Hence, it appears that the leaker could be talking about the Vivo X100s series’ and not just X100s or X100s Pro.
The leak suggests that the Vivo X100s and X100s Pro will both have an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. When it comes to durability, the device is said to feature a right-angled metal middle frame. The back panel of the device has glass, which suggests that it may not have a leather-back variant.
The Vivo X100s series is expected to come in shades, such as white, black, cyan, and titanium. The leaker did not reveal anything else about the device.
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro that were released in China have V2309 and V2324A model numbers. It is speculated that the X100s and X100s Pro have V2309HA and V2324HA model numbers, respectively. It is speculated that the X100s series may debut in April. Those waiting for the X100 Ultra should know that a recent Weibo post by tipster DCS revealed it may launch in May.
