Vivo has confirmed through Weibo that it will be launching the Vivo X27 smartphone on March 19. This comes as an official confirmation that the successor of the Vivo X23 will not be called Vivo X25. For reasons best known to Vivo, it has decided to skip the X25 moniker for its next X-series smartphone.
Another poster of the Vivo X27 smartphone also confirms its March 19 launch date. Rumors are rife that the Vivo V1829A/T smartphone that was recently certified by TENAA could be the upcoming Vivo X27 smartphone.
The Vivo V1829A/T TENAA listing has revealed that it will be arriving with a 6.39-inch AMOLED notch-less display with full HD+ resolution. The phone will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. It is powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core processor. The SoC of the phone will be supported by 8 GB of RAM. It will be available in storage choices such as 128 GB and 256 GB. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The triple camera setup of the phone will include 48-mgepaixel, 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. For capturing selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie snapper. The handset will include a 3,920mAh battery. The Android 9 Pie OS will come preinstalled on the device
