Vivo phones usually ship with FunTouchOS UI over Android OS. However, things are about to change with the Vivo X30 phone. Today, FunTouchOS Project Manager Ge Yanan revealed the new logo of JoviOS. It appears that the Vivo X30 series of phones that will break cover next month could be the first phones with JoviOS.
Apart from showcasing a logo for JoviOS, Yanan did not reveal any details on it. The Chinese firm may confirm more details on it at the launch of the Vivo X30 series in December. After the X30 series, the phones in 2020 may all ship with JoviOS.
In related news, a new image of the Vivo X30 has appeared. The teasers that have released so far have revealed the front and rear designs of the X30. However, none of them clearly revealed the top edge of the device. A new image confirms that the Vivo X30 will continue to feature a 3.5mm audio jack on its top edge.
So far, it is known that the Vivo X30 series will include Vivo X30 and X30 Pro 5G phones. The X30 duo will be fueled by Exynos 980 5G chipset to bring support for dual-mode 5G. The Vivo X30 is equipped with a punch-hole AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint reader. The rear shell of the phone features a quad camera setup that includes a periscope lens. The Vivo X30 will deliver up to 60x super zoom. It will arrive in three colors like Blue, Orange and Black.
