Vivo X300 Pro shatters AnTuTu records, X300 to debut as X200 Pro Mini’s successor

Last year, Vivo unveiled three flagship phones in October in China, namely the X200 Pro Mini, X200, and X200 Pro. This time around, the company will launch only two models, the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Today, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao confirmed that the X300 will arrive as an upgraded version of the X200 Pro Mini. This hints that the X300 may arrive with a 6.3-inch display, which in turn suggests that there won’t be a model with a 6.67-inch display like the X200. Additionally, he also shared the following screenshot to showcase the marvelous AnTuTu score of the Vivo X300 Pro.

Coming back to the Vivo X300, Boxiao confirmed that the X300 is equipped with a 6.31-inch BOE Q10 Plus display with 8T LTPO that supports hardware-level 1-nit eye protection for low-brightness comfort. For security, it features an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Its camera setup will include a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB main camera and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto. These two sensors could be joined by a Samsung JN5 ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, it will feature a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus and 92-degree FOV support. The phone will support telephoto macro photography.

For security, the X300 will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will also have a high-spec USB port, which appears to be USB-C 3.2.

As far as launch is concerned, the Vivo X300 series is expected to launch in October in China.
