Vivo X300 Ultra camera specifications confirmed before launch

In March, Vivo will announce the Vivo X300 Ultra, X300s, and Vivo Pad 6 Pro in China. It goes without saying that the X300 Ultra will be the company’s most powerful camera phone. Today, the brand held a local event in China to confirm the camera specifications of the X300 Ultra.

Vivo X300 Ultra camera specifications

The Vivo X300 Ultra’s rear camera setup is headlined by an OIS-enabled 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 sensor, which has a 1/1.2-inch sensor size, a 35mm focal length, and is equipped with a 1G+6P lens. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor size and OIS support.

The X300 Ultra’s rear camera setup also includes a 200-megapixel Samsung HP0 sensor with 3-axis gimbal-level OIS support and a 1/1.4-inch sensor size. Additionally, the camera setup comprises a 5-megapixel multispectral lens for improved color accuracy.

Apart from confirming camera specifications, Vivo has also released official images and confirmed the configurations of the X300 Ultra by making it available for pre-orders in China. The handset will be available in four options: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, with select variants offering satellite connectivity support.

The X300 Ultra’s official images show that it will be available in black, silver, and green. In China, the device is expected to cost around 7,499 Yuan ($1,090) for the base model. The price hike is said to be due to rising memory cost trends globally. The X300 Ultra is also heading to the global market, but its exact launch timeframe has not yet been revealed.
