Tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared the camera specifications of the Vivo X300 Ultra, claiming that it will be the only flagship phone among its competitors to feature dual 200-megapixel cameras. Today, he has seemingly shared more details about the X300 Ultra’s cameras.
Vivo X300 Ultra camera specifications (rumored)

According to the report, the prototype device of an upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered flagship phone is equipped with a 200-megapixel IMX09E as its main camera, which features a very large sensor. One of the secondary cameras will also use a large-format IMX09A, and in total, the phone will carry three new sensors. The setup will also include a new GP glass-plastic hybrid periscope lens with internal focusing that supports telephoto macro photography. Here the IMX809A refers to the Sony LYT-828 50-megapixel, which will be available as a periscope telephoto camera on the device.
The IMX09E sensor itself is highlighted as a cutting-edge component: it is built on a 22nm process, sized at 1/1.12 inches with 0.7?m pixels. It supports Hybrid Frame-HDR technology, combining DCG and VS for improved performance, while offering higher full-well capacity and an ultra-high dynamic range of over 100dB. Its light sensitivity has been significantly improved, and it supports 2x and 4x lossless zoom with full-pixel fusion. The sensor also features 16-channel 2×2 OCL (On-Chip Lens) technology. Likely, this camera may carry the LYT-990 marketing name.
While DCS did not explicitly mention the name of the device, there is speculation about whether he is referring to the Oppo Find X9 Ultra or the Vivo X300 Ultra. The latter seems more likely, as it is expected to feature a triple-camera setup, whereas the Find X9 Ultra is rumored to include a quad-camera system with dual periscope lenses. Moreover, the tipster has previously used the phrase “GYDDY” in connection with Vivo devices, further suggesting that this leak is about the Vivo X300 Ultra.
As per other reports, the Vivo X300 Ultra’s camera setup will include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, which could be the Sasmung HPB sensor. For selfies, it will have an autofocus-enabled 50-megapixel front camera.
