Vivo X50 to Come with Professional Imaging Capabilities

At the end of the previous year, Vivo announced the Vivo X30v and Vivo X30 Pro smartphones. The upper mid-range phones were first to feature the Exynos 980 5G chipset. The major attraction of the Vivo X30 series was that it supported up to 60x digital zoom. A screenshot that reveals the existence of the Vivo X50 smartphone is now doing rounds on Weibo. The name was revealed during a reality show on TV yesterday in China.

As can be seen in the image, the Vivo X50 seems to be the name of the successor of the Vivo X30 series. Hence, the lineup may include Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro. Probably, the company could be planning to launch the Vivo X50 series.

The poster does not reveal any information on the specifications of the Vivo X50. It only states that the X50 will deliver professional imaging experience. Since the Vivo X30 series supported 60x digital zoom, the Chinese firm may offer higher digital zooming capabilities on the X50 models.

Vivo is yet to confirm the existence of the Vivo X50 series. The news of the Vivo X50 has come at a time when the rumor mill has started revealing the existence of the OPPO Reno4 smartphone. Recently, a leaked image of the Reno4 had appeared on Weibo.

Last year, the OPPO Reno3 series and Vivo X30 series had debuted in December. Probably, both companies are planning to introduce the successor models within the second quarter of the year.

The leaked image of the Reno4 had revealed that it is equipped with a quad-camera setup on its back. The three lenses are stacked vertically whereas the fourth one is placed next to the third sensor. An LED flash can be found beside the first sensor. There is no information available on the specs of the OPPO Reno4.
