Yesterday, the rumor mill started spilling information on the upcoming Vivo X50 series. It will be replacing the Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 smartphones that had gone official in December 2019. Today, the Chinese firm suddenly confirmed that the Vivo X50 will go official on June 1 and it will come with super-sensitive micro gimbal.
The 8-second video has information on the specs of the Vivo X50. However, it does emphasize on the camera capabilities of the X50. The predecessor Vivo X30 Pro supported 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom since it came with a periscope zoom lens. The vanilla Vivo X30 did not feature a periscope lens. It is speculated that this around even the vanilla Vivo X50 will come with a periscope lens.
Recently, the Vivo X50 name was spotted during a reality show on TV in China. The tagline that was mentioned along with stated that it will deliver professional imaging experience.
Leaked renders of the Vivo X50 smartphone are now doing rounds on Weibo. The images reveal that the phone will come with a punch-hole screen. The rear side of the phone seems to feature a rectangle-shaped camera setup. It is also known that the Vivo X50 is a 5G-ready device.
Recently, two Vivo phones with model numbers such as V2005A and V2001A were certified by the 3C authority of China. It was found that both phones supported 5G and may come with a 33W fast charger.
The V2002A is another phone from Vivo that is waiting to go official. It is said to debut as Vivo Y70s and it could be the first phone to feature the all-new Exynos 880 chipset.
The V2012A is another phone from the company. It was recently spotted at Geekbench with Snapdragon 765G SoC. Some rumors claim that it could be an international edition of the Vivo Z6 smartphone that debuted in China earlier this year.
