Following the success of the Vivo X50 series smartphones last year, Vivo Singapore is now back with the brand new Vivo X60 series smartphones in the local market.
Just like it’s predecessor, the new Vivo X60 series smartphones continue to place huge emphasize on mobile photography, bringing along the second-generation’s gimbal-style camera system jointly developed with Zeiss.
In the camera department, both the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro share great similarities including the same 48 megapixels Sony IMX598 primary shooter, 13 megapixels telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, as well as a 13 megapixels ultra-wide camera with 120-degrees field-of-view.
The only difference between the duo lies in the presence of a gimbal stabilization system on the main camera of the Vivo X60 Pro, while the vanilla X60 gets a traditional OIS stabilization instead.
Other than that, you can expect both devices to click exceptional photos under low-light environment and shoot ultra-stable video recordings courtesy of their advanced stabilization system.
Coming to its front panel, both the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro comes with an identical 6.56-inches FHD+ AMOLED display which has a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, as well as in-display fingerprint scanner. Although the Vivo X60 has a flat panel, but the X60 Pro settles for a curved display instead.
At the helm, the duo will be featuring the latest Snapdragon 870 chipset which comes with dual-mode 5G support. In the memory department, both the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro get a hefty 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage that’s more than sufficient for the majority of users.
To keep the lights on, the Vivo X60 arrives with a respectable 4,300mAh battery, while the X60 Pro has a slightly lower 4,200mAh battery capacity. Both devices will however share the same 33W flash charging technology.
On the software-side, the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro run on the latest OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11. Both devices also support advanced connectivity options including NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 and Dual-band Wi-Fi.
