Although its pretty much confirmed that the Vivo X60 series smartphones will be making its official debut later this month, but its actual unveiling date remains largely a mystery.
Despite that, the Vivo X60 series had already achieved an impressive feat ahead of its launch after garnering more than 200,000 registrations shortly after it was up for registrations.
To keep the hype going, Vivo has also released the official renders of both the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro which showcase both devices in their respective colorways.
At the front, both the Vivo X60 and X60 duo share the same central hole-punch design which set them apart from the current X50 and X50 Pro (Review) devices. For the Vivo X60 Pro, it will be equipped with a curved panel at the front while the vanilla Vivo X60 settles for a flat panel.
Over at the back, they admittedly looks pretty much like the current X50 devices we have in the market. As such, both devices will be retaining a familiar rectangular camera housing with their camera sensors arranged in a triangular fashion.
Unlike the Vivo X60 which has 3 cameras at the back, the “Pro” model actually has an additional 8 megapixels periscope lens which is capable of supporting up to 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom.
Otherwise, both devices share the same 48 megapixels primary shooter with Zeiss optics, 13 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 13 megapixels portrait lens.
Under the hood, the upcoming X60 series smartphones are among the first batch to be powered by the new Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset that comes with support for 5G connectivity for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
