Vivo will be announcing the Vivo X70 series of photography-focused smartphones on Sept. 9 in China. The lineup will reportedly include three models such as the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+. The Pro+ model as usual, is likely to be a flagship device just like it’s Vivo X60 Pro+ predecessor. A fresh leak has revealed the camera specifications of the Vivo X70 Pro+.
According to a Chinese tipster, the quad-camera unit of the Vivo X70 Pro Plus features an OIS enabled 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 lens as the primary camera, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 with micro-gimbal stabilization, an OIS-assisted 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08A10 periscope zoom lens that carries support for 60x digital zoom and OIS. The X70 Pro+ will ZEISS optics and Vivo V1 chip for improved photography experience.
Past reports have revealed that the Vivo X70 Pro+ has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with curved design. It will feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner and it may house a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Snapdragon 888 SoC phone may offer users with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging. It is also speculated to carry support for 50W wireless charging.
Another tipster has claimed that the Vivo X70 Pro+ comes in leather versions such as orange skin and blue skin. It will also come in black with AG glass. On the other side, the Vivo X70 and X70 Pro are expected to arrive in colors like black, monologue, nebula (gradient), and orange.
