Yesterday, reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer shared the CAD renders of the upcoming Vivo X70 Pro to reveal its design. A few hours later, My Smart Price shared the leaked renders of the Vivo X70 handset. The images reveal that its design is almost identical to the Pro model.
The Vivo X70 renders show that it has a flat-screen with a centrally aligned punch-hole. The CAD renders of the X70 Pro had revealed that it will be flaunting a curved edge display. Like the Pro model, the vanilla model will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The rear shell of the Vivo X70 features a vertical camera module that houses a triple camera unit and a triple LED flash. A ZEISS branding can also be seen next to the topmost camera. Past reports have claimed that it could be sporting an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera.
The X70’s right edge has a volume controller and a power key. Its left side appears barren, whereas the bottom edge features a SIM card tray, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. Apart from the blue-green gradient version, the X70 is likely to arrive in other colors. The leak states that the device measures 158.5 x 73.5 x 8mm, and its thickness increases to 10.6mm at the camera bump.
Rumors have it that the Vivo X70 is expected to feature a 6.56-inch FHD+ 120Hz display. The V2104 handset that appeared at the Geekbench benchmarking site recently is believed to be the X70 smartphone. The benchmark listing revealed it has a Dimensity 1200 chip, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. The handset is expected to arrive with support for 44W fast charging.
