Multiple reports have claimed that Vivo will be launching the Vivo X70 series of smartphones in different markets in September. Today, the company released an official confirmation that the X70 lineup will be breaking cover at 7:30 PM (local time) on Sept. 9 in China.
A landing page of the X70 series is now available on Vivo China’s website. Reports have revealed that the X70 lineup reportedly includes three models such as the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+. The Chinese manufacturer has shared a couple of renders of the Vivo X70 Pro+ to reveal its appearance.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ official images show that it will be available in an orange option apart from black. The orange model appears to be equipped with a leather back. As can be seen, it has a centrally aligned punch-hole display with curved edges. Its rear shell has a rectangle-shaped camera module without four cameras, a triple-LED flash, and some sensors inside it. A black-colored vacant spot can be seen on the right side of the camera module.
The Vivo X70 and X70 Pro are likely to house a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, whereas the X70 Pro+ is expected to feature a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED panel. The vanilla and Pro models are said to be powered by the Exynos 1080 chip in China, whereas their global editions may feature the Dimensity 1200 chip. The X70 Pro+ is likely to arrive with the Snapdragon 888 SoC in China as well as in global markets.
Like the predecessor X-series models, the X70 lineup is expected to deliver top-notch photography experience. Vivo has confirmed that it has powered the X70 series cameras with its self-developed Vivo V1 image signal processor.
