At the beginning of this year, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro smartphones in China. The global editions of the X80 and X80 Pro have already been launched. A new report suggests that the X80 Pro+ will be heading to the global market in September.
GSMArena has learnt through a trustworthy industry source that a new X-series device will be released in September. Hence, the X80 and X80 Pro+ have already been released globally. The only device that is yet to hit the overseas market is the X80 Pro+. Unfortunately, the report has no information on the specifications of the device.
Leaked information that surfaced in June revealed that the X80 Pro+ heading to the global market will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The device is expected to arrive with 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of built-in storage.
The X80 Pro+ is expected to feature a different rear camera setup as compared to the Chinese edition. It may come with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 snapper, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN2 camera.
The device is likely to feature the same display that is available on the Vivo X80 Pro. Hence, it appears that the device will arrive with a 6.78-inch AMOLED that offers up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a Quad HD+ resolution. It is speculated that the device may support 120W fast charging.
