Vivo has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone in the European market known as the Vivo Y01 which carries an affordable launch price of just 119 Euros (US$130).
The phone comes along with a modest 6.51” IPS LCD display which offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.
On the rear side, it sports a square-shaped camera module which interestingly houses only a single 8 megapixels camera that’s aided by a LED flash when shooting in low-light environment.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y01 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset which will be paired with up to 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which supports expansion via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo Y01 is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with Funtouch 11.1 based on Android 11 Go Edition.
