Over the past couple of months, Vivo had launched a handful of Y20 series smartphones including the most recent Vivo Y20 (2021) and Y20A. Now, the company is back with a new member known as the Vivo Y20G.
As usual, the Vivo Y20G will once again be an entry-level smartphone targeted towards the budget segment. The device features a 6.51-inches HD+ LCD display that comes with a dewdrop-notch upfront which houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
On the rear side, the device brings along a rectangular camera island which houses a triple-camera setup consisting of a 13 megapixels primary shooter, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y20G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset alongside 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping its lights on will be a massive 5,000mAh battery that comes with 18W fast-charging support. On the software-side, it’ll be shipped with the latest FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Vivo Y20G is available in both Obsidian Black and Purist Blue color options. It will be priced at INR14,990 ($205) in the Indian market.
