Vivo Y21T debuts with Snapdragon 680 SoC, 50MP triple-cameras & 5,000mAh Battery

Vivo has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Vivo Y21T in the Indonesian market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 3,099,000 Rupiah (US$218).

The Vivo Y21T features a 6.51” IPS LCD display that offers a modest HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 89% screen-to-body ratio as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calls.

Around the back of the phone, it has a square-shaped camera housing which play host to a triple-camera setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera along with a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y21T is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage that can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging. Other than that, it also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack as well as FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
